With only 14 hours left of the campaign, we have passed 10k and unlocked the Vriki plush coin purse! That means with all goals unlocked we can add one final stretch goal... Kom! Will we make it in time?

Outfit Reveals, Poll, and Community Choice #2 winner!

Hello!
I have been going back and forth with my manufacturer to figure out how we will be going about selecting outfits in the upcoming survey. The issue is, we do not know what outfits will be in-stock for me to purchase by the time surveys end compared to when they start. My manufacturer holds on to a limited quantity of each variant- everything is in stock currently but some could sell out. There is also no guarantee they will restock within the surveys time frame.

We have two options:

A. We have all of the potential outfits in the Survey for you to choose from. After surveys are done, I immediately order the outfits that are currently available (plus a few extras). For those that are sold out, I will check with the manufacturer to make sure there will not be any restock coming up. If not, I will reach out to anyone who picked an outfit that is out of stock, plus do an update stating which are not in stock.

B. I order various outfits that are available ASAP when the campaign ends and create the survey accordingly. This means each outfit has a limited quantity, so first come first serve! I will order extras of outfits for those using Pay Over Time and future Etsy orders (so more than the ordered total on Backerkit) and in case a particular outfit is popular.

For those doing Pay Over Time, you will only recieve your survey after completing the payment. This means per option B, there will be less outfits for you to pick from. Per option A, you will still likely be limited to what is left unless I decide to do another outfit order- in which case what was out of stock versus in stock may change. 

Now, to show you all what to expect for Simple versus Fancy Outfits so you can make changes to your pledge if you prefer one or the other! Remember, outfits are only add-ons. Not included with the base plush purchase!

Shipping Change

Hello!
I am currently working on getting the surveys set up so they will be ready when it is time to send them out. Based on what I have found while getting things ready, I have made a change to how we will be going about shipping:

I have decided to swap from charging the cost of shipping directly after the surveys are filled out (Dec-Jan) to doing so closer to when things will be physically shipped out (Aug-Sept). This is for a few reasons- such as allowing more breathing room between payments to make things easier to afford, having the cost at time of getting labels be closer to what you pay, and in hope international shipping rates go back down to how they were when I estimated shipping (rates fluctuate and are currently up by a decent amount likely due to the holidays coming up). I am also concidering using a different shipping partner than Pirateship that works more efficiently with Backerkit, so I will be looking into other options!

Utopia VS Kom - Community Choice Poll #2 Unlocked!

We have just barely passed the goal for the second community choice with only 13 days left in the campaign! The most popular from the previous poll are up against each other this time around... and I bet it will be a close call so every vote counts!

Unlike the previous pride pins situation, if we go back under this goal before the campaign ends (if people cancel) then this goal will not be concidered met. However, if that becomes the case then I plan to offer another chance to fund it during the survey stage of the campaign! (This also applies to the doll that does not win this poll if we don't get to a Community Choice #3).

The next goal to unlock is the Vriki coin purse, but if we do not reach it and you would like one for yourself (or perhaps a different xenofauna), make sure to vote in the Future Campaigns Poll!
Lastly, the pride pin's overlay poll has concluded with holographic shine being the winner! This is a great choice as it matches the overall LGBTQ+ theme.

Nem, Tang, Rex, Vace, and NB!Sol confirmed plus Nomi update

Hello all! I am here to share some confirmations when it comes to materials that will be used on the plush dolls. Tangent and Anemone were approved a while ago to begin manufacturing, and the rest seen here have been approved today! 

In the images below you can see photos of the hair colors that are going to be used, as well as some example images provided by the manufacturer of dolls with alike hairstyles to demonstrate how they will go about making their hair. Tangent's includes an image of how they will go about the ear accessories using embroidery. 

Additionally, Nomi is still undergoing some checks and changes as they had to be simplified, but you can find an update on the current version below.  

So excited to see these guys brought into reality- what do you think of the colors and alterations?
