First six dolls and free sticker have been unlocked!

We were able to unlock three new dolls each of the first two hours since the campaign has launched. This adds up to six which is amazing! We also unlocked every single backer getting the free Sol Campaign Sticker. This is far more than I expected even in the first full day so thank you very much to the fourteen backers currently making these dolls possible. I will be sending the unlocked designs to my manufacturer right away as the more progress made on them the sooner mass production can begin! 

1 day until launch - What to expect

Only one day left until you can pledge for an Exocolonist plush of your own- so exciting!!
With the polls ending heres what you can expect tomorrow-
When the page has launched, you will see some tabs - Story, Pledge Levels, Add-ons, Updates, Community, and FAQ. 
  • In the Story tab, you can read through the sections seen on the left in the screenshot. Stretch Goals, Timeline, Shipping, Etc. 
  • In Pledge Levels, you can choose how many plush dolls you would like. It will display the price (not counting shipping, which is calculated after the campaign)and the price per month if you choose Pay Over Time. 
  • After choosing the Pledge Level, you'll be sent to Add-Ons. You can add outfits for your new doll(s), other IWATEX fanmerch like the Seasons Blanket, and after the Accessories Stretch Goal is passed- doll shoes and limited hand-painted Sportsballs! 
  • Then theres the Updates and Community tabs which include posts like this one and FAQ which is self explanitory. 

After pledging, you can edit your choices at any time until the campaign ends and you will not be charged until then.

3 Days left - Vote on Sol's Paw Embroidery

Hello everyone! I hope October has treated you well so far.
With only 3 days left until launch there is limited time to secure your vote on which Exocolonist plush you are looking forward to most. The poll has been updated to include visuals of the doll designs rather than placeholders- have any of the design reveals changed your vote? This helps determine the Stretch Goal Unlock order so get your choice in asap!

Also determining Stretch Goal Unlocks is this poll. You can help decide where Sym will be on the map due to his increased price making it harder to get any dolls coming after him.
Additionally, Marz's embroidery poll is ending soon and has a pretty close amount of votes between two of the options, so if you plan on getting her make sure to get your vote in!

Today's new poll is on Solanacae's paw embroidery which you can vote on below. The options are pretty similar as they both use Sol's hair colors, but the paw pads have variation. Based on a previous vote, this choice will apply to all variations.

Stretch Goal poll and Final Design Reveal - Sym

Sym is the last one to have his design revealed as he will be created with a different manufacturer!

I went with a different manufacturer only for Sym as the one I am using for the others has limited skin colors available. This also allows for Sym to look a bit different from the other dolls which works in favor of having him feel more alien. However, he will cost a decent amount more to create than the other dolls.

As he is popular, this causes the conundrum of where in the stretch goals he should be placed. Ideally he would be unlocked sooner due to more people wanting him- however his personal higher cost makes his unlock higher and therefore would make unlocking what comes after him a harder to reach goal.

The general stretch goal map plan is: 
  • Most to least popular characters
  • Least popular Sol variants (M/F)
  • Community Choice Side Character

Almost all of the design reveals have been made now, other than Sym. (Unless we pass our funding goal- there will be a community choice doll if we do!) What do you think of Cal's plush design?
